Habs-e-jaan aisa tha phir shiddat-e-gham ko tarsay
Be hissi woh thi k deeda e num ko tarsay
Tujh se bichre tou koi raah na manzil koi
Aise bhatkay k tere naqsh-e-qadam ko tarsay
Zakhm aise the jin ka koi dermaan na hua
Umer bher hum tou tere dast-e-karam ko tarsay
Paas reh ker tha jinhain zakhm-e-taghaful ka gila
Tujh se bichray tou tere zulm-o-sitam ko tarsay...!
